My teaching methods have also been proved successful, which includes teaching pupils with learning difficulties who are often very nervous about taking Driving lessons in Ayr/Ayrshire. I have a high pass rate( Including seven clean sheets, very rare.
I always try to get people through their test as quickly and safely as possible with a first time pass, as this is more likely to get their friends relatives / workmates ect.... to take up lessons with Westdrive (word of mouth is important in this business) but I also get great job Satisfaction from it as well.
I always teach to a very high standard, so that not only does the prospective candidate pass their test first time, but also has learned a life skill that will hopefully keep them safe on today's ever increasingly congested roads.
I became a driving instructor primarily because I like to meet people. I have been very lucky to have taught some super pupils and I ensure that from the first lesson, everyone appreciates that learning to drive involves some hard work which I try to make as enjoyable as I can. Of course, on ‘test day’, I don’t have the same nerves as my pupils, but when they pass, I share their feeling of great satisfaction. And together, it makes our hard work worthwhile.
I'm fully aware that you are the customer & your business is very important to me, I want you to look forward to your driving lessons, to enjoy them as much as I enjoy teaching them.
I know from experience that you will learn more if the driving lesson is fun, informative & constructive, you'll see your progress developing which is recorded on your Pupil Progress Card.
I'm a keen sportsman & adventurist, who loves the outdoor life. I've planned and executed various expeditions all over Scotland and Internationally in places such as Nepal, the Swiss Alps and Atlas Mountains. I'm also a Duke of Edinburgh Expedition Leader/Assessor, which gives me great experience dealing with nervous and apprehensive individuals, helping them to develop & achieve their potential. Teaching people to drive isn’t quite the same, but there are definitely some similarities.
My aim is to teach the latest, up to date DVSA driving syllabus, which you'll need to pass your driving test and help make you a safe, competent and conscientious driver for life.
