Our fully Qualified, expert, reliable, and friendly driving instructors offer one to one driving tuition from your place of Work, Home or School/College. We do not share your allocated driving lesson time with other pupils & we will not piggyback your driving lesson.
Westdrive was formed and operated by myself, James Donald a DVSA, Approved Driving Instructor. I have over 20 years experience as a driving instructor in Ayr, Troon, Prestwick and Ayrshier area, and a further 6 years as a driving examiner so you can be assured of receiving the very best driving tuition. I pride myself on my very professional, yet calm, friendly and approachable manner which enables new pupils to quickly relax and get on with learning to drive!. Age, experience, background & culture are no problem as I tailor every driving lesson to the individual pupil ensuring you will be taught at a pace that suits you best.
The practical driving test has had a few changes lately.
In the biggest shake-up in decades a number of new or changed elements will be putting more emphasis on “real life” driving, including independent driving and using in-car technology.
The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) says the changes are being introduced to ensure the test is relevant in the 21st century and that new motorists have all the skills they need for a lifetime of safe driving.
